Molly and Rebecca Marks, the co-presidents of the Parkland Chapter, got into two publications, the Sun Sentinel and the Parklander, for their incredible service project!! They spent over two months decorating 900 rocks with inspirational messages and individually wrapping each of them! They were given to teachers in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Westglades Middle School, Riverglades, Heron Heights and Park Trails Elementary Schools. They did an incredible job! We are so proud of their amazing work!
Hi! I'm Jamie Cohen, Jared's younger sister, and I'm taking over Communiteens! My bother is off to college at Carnegie Mellon to study at the School of Engineering! I am a 16 year old Junior at American Heritage Plantation. As president, I will be managing the non-profit, expanding it throughout the country, and also working with my own chapter at school! I am so excited to be working with our amazing chapter presidents to make a difference in the community.
My own non-profit, Peace Love Smile, was developed during my freshman year in order to spread happiness throughout the community. We do several events such as teaching cooking classes at Children's Harbor of South Florida, collect and donate stuffed animals with SAFE, and decorate medals for We Finish Together. Our chapters include Peace Love Eat, Peace Love Comfort, Peace Love Kindness, and I am now very proud to announce, Peace Love Communiteens!!!
I am so excited to be a part of this amazing organization!
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and you can check out my other website www.peaceloveeay.net for more information! Please contact me if you want to be a chapter president, join a chapter, or get involved in any of our events!
