We have had many events recently in Communiteens:
Communiteens Weston, Wellington, and Ft. Lauderdale worked together to wrap and label presents for Clara's Secret Shepherds and their foster children. Communiteens Weston, and Ft. Lauderdale worked together to sort and quantify stuffed animals for S.A.F.E and young, underprivileged children. Since these events were such a success, we are very excited for out future events!

There are many new addition to Communiteens - South Florida region. In terms of chapters, there is a new chapter: Weston. This chapter is led by Brooke Behar. If you want to join this chapter, please tell me through the form you send in. In terms of members (Ft. Lauderdale), we have several new members! Trevor B. , Sebastian R., and Sophia J. are now part of Communiteens - Florida. . Communiteens Wellington and Ft. Lauderdale are teaming up with Clara's Secret Shepards to purchase and wrap presents for children in foster care . We have several people ready to participate in wrapping this weekend.
Communiteens Fort Lauderdale is partnering with SAFE (Stuffed Animals for Emergencies) for our first event. We are collecting stuffed animals (new and gently used) for underprivileged children for the holidays. You can drop them off or mail them at 5220 South University Drive, Suite C203 through December 15th. If no one is there, please leave them at the door! They will make many children happy!
I have recently incorporated Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for Communiteens. These will be constantly updated with our events. I am excited to update this and hope for many followers. Instagram is communiteens_ Facebook is communiteens and Twitter is @communiteens. I think getting followers is going to be the hardest part! We have also included two Chapter Presidents in our organization. Tommy will be leading the South Carolina Chapter and Ryan will be leading the Wellington chapter in Florida. I will make sure to constantly keep in touch with them. I hope other high school students participate in my organization to make a difference in the world. P.S. Thank you to Steve Shnider for all of your help with the website!
