The Co-Chapter Presidents of the Parkland Chapter, Molly and Rebecca Marks, participated in the Broward County Harvest Drive. Along with Broward County schools, the Harvest Drive works to assist over 2400 families with groceries for a full Thanksgiving meal. Their November distributions occur at 14 schools in Broward County. Amazing job to our Parkland Chapter for completing their first project of the school year!
Our American Heritage Chapter is holding a stuffed animal drive throughout the school. These stuffed animals with be sent to Peace Love Smile's chapter for SAFE, an organization that donates stuffed animals to underprivileged children. The stuffed animals will be donated to children in Ghana, Africa, along with an additional 1,000 stuffed animals collected over the past few months. Our newest chapter in Davie, run by Bronte Bredemeyer, will be helping out SAFE too by hosting a drive in her neighborhood and church group! She will be helping SAFE reach their goal of 1,500 stuffed animals by February.
